I got FFX when I was about thirteen or so. It was one of my first Final Fantasy games I’ve ever played, so it will always hold a special place deep in my heart. But I don’t think I got the full impact of the story until I started re-playing it recently. It baffles me that a lot of people I know don’t like it. They complain about the voice acting or the battle system, but they never mention the story. I like to believe they’re like me, crying like a small child at the end of the game.

I always thought it was weird how the characters look asian during the high quality cutscenes, but caucasian during the actual gameplay.

517: I was more interested in Tenzin, Lin, and the airbabies than I was about Korra and the others. I think it’s because I’m still really connected to ATLA.

“Every time I watch James and The Giant Peach, I can’t help but think the movie is about a boy with PTSD, who watched his parents be brutally murdered by a man with a rhino tattoo. It was so traumatizing, he thought a rhino did it, so every time his aunts mentioned it they were mocking him. The little bugs were symbols of his parents, The sassy but caring mother, the intelligent yet stubborn father who he never saw get to old age. The whole adventure was all in his head. He never left that room.”

818: Korra is just an obnoxious Mary Sue.
submitted by anonymous

( Sorry but I’m not gonna even start on how obnoxious the submitter sounds right now. )

Agree to disagree, anon. Even when I didn’t like her character I never thought she was a Mary Sue. If anything she is breathtakingly realistic and riddled with tons of flaws. Seriously. She pouts, she complains, she gets jealous, she acts like a kid, she loses control easily, she’s been shown to be selfish - human qualities in a realistically human character.
Dunno, I get why someone wouldn’t like her. Sometimes a person just doesn’t like a character no matter what. Sometimes you can acknowledge a character is not evil but still not like him/her because they have qualities you hate or piss you the fuck off in general. Korra is far from a Mary Sue though. She’s obnoxious, but not a Mary Sue in any capacity. Then again, my two cents are just that, my two cents.
